Mixed Martial Arts Superstar Cung Le To Star in Crime Drama "Dragon Eyes"

Vietnamese American and former mixed martial arts champion, Cung Le is set to star in Joel Silver's action crime drama Dragon Eyes which is sure to electrify.

Silver's Dark Castle will produce the film alongside Courtney Solomon's After Dark Films and is set to begin filming in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in October.

Le's role in the action crime drama will be a man that comes from a poverty stricken part of New Orleans in an attempt to unite two gangs that have at war to put a stop to corrupt lawmen.

The San Jose, California trained mixed martial artist has previously had roles in Pandorum, which featured Dennis Quaid, and Bodyguards and Assassins to name a few.

His mixed martial arts accomplishments include a record of 6-1 and a middleweight championship under the Strikeforce banner. Le possesses some of the most exciting and devastating kicks in the sport, which come from his days spent training in San Shou where he owns an impressive record of 17-0.
