Ultimate Fighting Championship star Brock Lesnar doesn't deserve a top-five ranking, says the heavyweight champion of Strikeforce.

A few days after UFC President Dana White scorned the notion of Alistair Overeem as a top-10 heavyweight, Overeem described UFC ex-champion Lesnar as overrated after losing to Cain Velasquez last month. Bloody Elbow posted a translation of Overeem's comments to Dutch website Mixfight.nl:

"After what Cain did to Brock it's silly to give Brock a top 5 spot. ... He's still a good fighter but having a 5-2 record and almost losing to Carwin and having wins over Herring, Couture and Mir (which he lost to as well) is not something that I'm very impressed about."

The USA TODAY/SB Nation consensus rankings list Overeem at No. 8 for heavyweights. Lesnar is ranked No. 2, behind Velasquez.
